Ortivus wins Excellence in mobile healthcare award

Ortivus is delighted to announce that we have been recognised in partnership with South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) and Quicksilva for the successful implementation and deployment of Summary Care Record access via our MobiMed Smart solution. Recognition came in the guise of the 2016 eHI Award for Excellence in Mobile Healthcare.

The solution that was implemented links the MobiMed Smart Electronic Patient Record solution with Quicksilva’s orQestra® SCR Spine Mini Service – allowing SCAS crews in some 450 vehicles to be able to access Summary Care Record Information at the patients side. This helps crews to provide urgent and timely healthcare by accessing key information about medical conditions, medications and allergies that have been previously recording on the patients Summary Care Record.

“This award recognises the dedication and hard work that allowed this solution to be the first of its kind, and I’m delighted to see that the industry judges shared our enthusiasm for what it is already delivering in terms of positive patient outcomes. We look forward to using this as the launchpad to expand the use of SCR, and also for other successful integrations in future.” says Ortivus UK’s Managing Director Philip Swan.

The award was recently presented to Ortivus, SCAS and Quicksilva at eHI’s 2016 awards event at the Lancaster Hotel in London hosted by comedienne Ruby Wax.
