Ortivus and SCHILLER sign distributor agreement

Ortivus AB and SCHILLER AG have decided on a collaboration through a distributor agreement for the Nordic market. The agreement gives Ortivus the opportunity to offer SCHILLER’s FRED easyport® plus defibrillator, which together with MobiMed becomes a competitive total solution for prehospital care and primary care.

Through the distributor agreement, Ortivus will be given the opportunity to supplement quotations with FRED easyport plus, a powerful defibrillator with a total weight of 780g. The agreement is non-exclusive and applies to all Nordic countries. SCHILLER's defibrillator will be offered as a complement to MobiMed, which means that Ortivus now can deliver an inclusive solution with an unmatched modularity.

“We are very pleased to announce this agreement as the combination of MobiMed and FRED easyport plus constitute a very competitive total solution. Now we can offer our customers high performance products to a uniquely low weight, which is highly prioritised in prehospital care and primary care,”  says Reidar Gårdebäck, CEO, Ortivus.

“With the recent product release of the FRED easyport plus we are expanding SCHILLER’s offering of its unique small-size AED technology. The agreement with Ortivus is an excellent opportunity to further penetrate the emergency and rescue market in the Nordic region,”  says Peter Neleman, Director of International Business Development, SCHILLER.

The collaboration also includes software integrations to allow treatment data from FRED easyport plus to seamlessly be transferred to MobiMed monitor and electronic patient record.

About Ortivus AB
Ortivus is a Swedish Medtech company that has provided digital solutions for prehospital and primary care since 1985. Ortivus’ solution MobiMed is used by more than 10,000 ambulance caregivers in over 2000 emergency vehicles, mainly in the UK and Sweden.

MobiMed is built in modules where MobiMed Monitoring (Vital Sign Monitoring) offers real-time monitoring of patients' vital values. MobiMed Journal is an electronic patient record (ePR) with decision support system and triage.

MobiMed is integrated with several different monitoring devices and administrative systems, which allows patient data to be transmitted seamlessly. This makes it easier for healthcare professionals to provide the right treatment, saves time when handing over a patient from emergency vehicle to hospital and accumulate big data that analysts can use to update clinical guidelines.

The MobiMed platform is based on clinical knowledge in cardiology. It is continuously developed in close collaboration with users.

The company is listed on NASDAQ Stockholm.
