As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing long-term relationships with our most important customers, ensuring their success and satisfaction while identifying new opportunities to grow our business. This role is a vital part of the Sales team, requiring a deep understanding of client needs, contract management, and strategic planning to secure long-lasting and profitable partnerships.

Salary Range: £50,000 – £65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications

About the Role
You’ll join us as a Key Account Manager to lead and nurture strategic client relationships in the out-of-hospital care and emergency services sectors. You will be the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, driving account growth, and collaborating internally to align solutions with client needs.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic customers
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all key customer matters
- Understand customer needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions
- Drive account growth through upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new opportunities
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention by delivering excellent service
- Monitor contract performance, manage renewals, and ensure commercial soundness of agreements
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, advocating for their needs and collaborating with internal teams to deliver value
- Manage key account plans, including strategic goals, risk mitigation, and revenue forecasts
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Professional Services teams to ensure seamless delivery and continuous improvement
- Maintain deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, public procurement processes, and competitive positioning
- Facilitate discussions and build trust with customers and external stakeholders through a solid understanding of technology and service delivery
- Attend client meetings, industry events, and conferences to strengthen partnerships and promote Ortivus’ offerings
Requirements:
- Prior experience in key account management, client relationship management, or business development within the healthcare technology or public sector services
- Direct experience working with the public sector is required
- Strong knowledge of public procurement rules and regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex accounts
Strong technical and service delivery understanding to support effective client and stakeholder communication - High attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strategic thinker with a solution-oriented mindset and strong commercial acumen
- Confident in negotiating, presenting, and leading contract discussions
Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment - Ability to drive your own work forward while being a strong team player — essential in a small and agile company like Ortivus
Education & Skills:
• Academic degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• Demonstrated success in managing complex customer relationships
• Ability to drive commercial and strategic initiatives
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
