Northern Ireland Ambulance Service is upgrading its MobiMed system with new hardware

Ortivus is pleased to announce that the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) has chosen to upgrade its installation of MobiMed ePR, electronic patient records, with new modern hardware. The value of the new order is estimated to be £250.000.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS), a customer of Ortivus since 2019, utilizes MobiMed ePR in its daily operations and in their approximately three hundred ambulances. The trust has now chosen to award Ortivus a new contract covering upgraded hardware for its existing electronic patient record system. The contract includes Panasonic TOUGHBOOK computers of the G2 model for a large number of NIAS's ambulance vehicles.

"The fact that NIAS chooses to invest in its MobiMed solution by upgrading to new and modern hardware is very positive. Now the customer will have the latest tablet from Panasonic Toughbook, a model that is robust and well-suited for the work of ambulance personnel in the field", says Elias Obaid, Global Sales Manager at Ortivus.

The contract can earliest be signed after a period of 10 days from the date of the award, in accordance with the procurement regulations.
