Reidar Gårdebäck appointed new CEO of Ortivus

The Board of Directors of Ortivus AB has decided to appoint Reidar Gårdebäck as new Managing Director of Ortivus AB effective from August 5, 2019. At the same time, Lars Höst, who since the summer of 2018 serves as acting CEO, return to his role as CFO for Ortivus AB.

Reidar Gårdebäck has more than 25 years of experience from marketing and sales in the healthcare market. He has worked as CEO of several international MedTech companies and has been active in introducing new technical solutions to the market. During the years 2015-2018, Reidar Gårdebäck was program director for the Vinnova-funded national strategic innovation program Medtech4Health, which aims to streamline health and healthcare services and strengthen the Swedish MedTech industry. He most recently comes from the consultancy company Spark Group, which since January 2019 has reinforced Ortivus’ organization in the areas of sales, product management, and marketing.
