Ortivus is awarded a strategically important contract on prehospital patient monitoring to Region Skåne!
We are happy to announce that Region Skåne decided to award Ortivus a contract for delivery of equipment to their ambulance organisation. The contract refers to MobiMed Monitor, hardware and software to the regions ambulance vehicles. The delivery also include external defibrillators. The order value is estimated to 30MSEK and the contract duration is two years with possible extension of another two years.
Ortivus, Sweden’s largest supplier of solutions for prehospital patient monitoring, currently provides MobiMed to 15 of Sweden’s 21 regions. With this new contract, Ortivus’ Swedish customer base is now being further expanded with Region Skåne, which owns one of Sweden’s largest ambulance organisations. The award is strategically important for Ortivus and proves once again that Ortivus delivers competitive total solutions to the ambulance care of today and tomorrow.
During the procurement process, Region Skåne has focused on increased patient safety and comfort, achieved by the implementation of new technology. They also want their new equipment to be user-friendly with an emphasis on good ergonomics for both ambulance personnel and patients.
The contract covers the delivery of MobiMed Monitor, hardware and software, to 90 of the region’s ambulances with an option for another 30. The delivery also includes telemedicine solutions and integrations as well as external defibrillators from Bexen-Cardio, for which Ortivus has exclusive distribution rights in the Nordics, UK and Ireland.
“Our solutions, that focus on ergonomics, safety and flexibility, once again prove to be completely in line with the requirements of modern ambulance care. This award is strategically important for Ortivus as we now can deliver MobiMed to one of Sweden’s largest ambulance organisations.” says Elias Obaid, European Sales Manager at Ortivus.
The contract will be signed after a period of 10 days from the date of the award, in accordance with the procurement regulations.
