Ortivus AB and Carmenta Public Safety AB strengthen their cooperation by signing a mutual distributor agreement for the Nordic and Spanish markets. This means that both parties will be able to offer the other party's products and thus be given the opportunity to deliver competitive total solutions to the prehospital market.
Together, the products cover the entire workflow in an alarm situation
Carmenta Public Safety provides solutions related mainly to navigation, map support and case management for emergency vehicles. Ortivus offers through its products patient monitoring and journaling of real-time clinical patient data. Together, the products cover the entire workflow in an emergency situation.
Collaboration provides seamless data transfer
Since the beginning of 2019, Ortivus and Carmenta Public Safety have worked together to develop an automatic transfer of data between the map support system ResQMobile, developed by Carmenta Public Safety, and Ortivus's journal system MobiMed. The companies have also collaborated in several marketing activities. When the integration has been demonstrated at various trade shows, the response from participants has been positive.
“There is an increased demand for comprehensive solutions for the entire emergency situation for more efficient emergency care. Our agreement gives us the opportunity to offer our customers an increased value for both patient and care provider.” says Reidar Gårdebäck, CEO of Ortivus.
Comprehensive solution improves the prehospital care
The automatic transfer of incident data between the systems provides improved security and saves time for the ambulance staff. Facilitating users and supporting customers to develop and streamline prehospital care is something that both companies have a strong desire to do. The collaboration means for customers, primarily in Spain and the Nordic countries, that they get a partner who can help them deliver a solution that covers the entire workflow in an emergency situation.
“Ortivus and Carmenta's products in Public Safety complement each other. Therefore, this collaboration is a natural development for both companies and we are proud to now be able to offer customers a comprehensive solution” says Johan Hedensiö, CEO of Carmenta Public Safety.
